Religion has always been used as a tool of the wealthy classes of all cultures to divide and pacify the working class within small areas like neighborhoods and cities or even larger areas between countries.

The Root of All Evil? is a television documentary, written and presented by Richard Dawkins, in which he argues that the world would be better off without religion.

The first part of the documentary explores the unproven beliefs that are treated as factual by many religions and the extremes to which some followers have taken them. The second part deals with the idea of faith and how the moral framework of religion is warped, and argues against the religious indoctrination of children.
